Location Madison Heights, MI — USA

Xeeva is disrupting the procurement and sourcing space with our patented AI-powered source-to-settle software. We believe AI is the future of procurement and we’re looking for someone talented to join us on this journey. We’re growing fast and we’re searching for an amazing UX/UI designer to grow with us. We want someone who’s positive, passionate, and ready to disrupt the status quo. Is that you?

What we want you to do:

  • Help ensure Xeeva provides the best possible user experience for our enterprise customers – one that delivers a high level of usability for both casual and expert users
  • Work closely with the design director and product teams on a variety of projects, including early phase UX, late phase UX, and full UI/visual design of both incremental feature iterations and entirely new features and applications
  • Quickly develop project-appropriate deliverables, from sketches to clickable “paper prototypes” that support design review and iteration that results in effective, attractive, and buildable designs for both web and mobile use cases
  • Ensure alignment of design deliverables with Xeeva brand standards as well as engineering realities so that designs are realizable and operationally efficient.
  • Take a leadership role in working with the engineering team to successfully hand off designs
  • Take ownership and interest in the successful, on-target realization of designs through the development, QC, and release finalization process
  • Champion a relentless focus on UX and usability excellence via use or recommendation of suitable metrics, processes, and tools
  • Support product team analysis or assessment of user experience feedback via system metrics (e.g. Kissmetrics), survey results, or focus/user group sessions

What we want to see:

  • A solid foundation in enterprise application UX/UI design, best practices, and tools
  • Experience creating and working with articulated design systems, pattern libraries, and standards
  • Deep familiarity with Sketch/InVision/Craft
  • Proficiency with engineering handoff tools like Zeplin and Avocode
  • Comfort with and an affinity for working with product teams
  • Familiarity and comfort with agile methods, JIRA
  • Previous experience with sourcing and procurement solution domains is a plus
  • Knowledge of guided systems and AI-enabled applications is a plus
  • A collaborative approach supported by a passion for good outcomes and a readiness to articulate or defend your point of view
  • Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques
  • Proven leadership and self-direction

Who you are:

  • Highly energetic and proactive
  • Willing to intelligently defend design decisions but flexible enough to change course as needed
  • Enjoy making sense of chaos and working with a diverse group of builders, entrepreneurs, creators, and all around great people
  • Fast learner and open to constructive criticism
  • Desire to dive in and learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to shift gears quickly, efficiently, and effectively
  • Dependable and reliable with clear thinking and attention to detail
  • Great sense of humor…we laugh a lot!

You’ve made it to the end so now is the time to decide if you’ll hit that little “X” at the top of the page and keep your work life as is, or take the first step towards starting an exciting, new, challenging chapter in your career. If it’s the latter, then apply right now and use the space in your resume and cover letter to actually tell us who you are – not just what you’ve done. Of course, you should include info on some of your accomplishments, but for extra credit send us a sample of something that inspires you (not something you created) – no explanation needed.
